|Instructor Bio:||Pierre is passionate about portraiture and gets his inspirations from painters such as Vermeer, Rembrandt and Singer Sargent, as well as from noted photographers Yusuf Karsh and Arnold Newman.
Students will work with the instructor who will share his knowledge and techniques in using a digital SLR camera. The course will include a fairly thorough review of lighting, both natural and artificial. Professional tips and techniques for photographing portraits, landscapes and products will be discussed. Computer processing of the digital images will include looking at software programs. The instructor will discuss printing your own photos or finding good labs for cost effective results. Requirements; a digital SLR camera (highly recommended), or a compact camera with manual exposure capability (shutter and aperture settings) which can record RAW images with a hot shoe for a flash.
